As a hardtop express the Tiara 4000 features an enclosed helm with power helm seat and extended companion lounge. The helm features a full complement of electronics including: Northstar GPS/chart plotter, Raytheon radar, Raytheon Colorscope, Robertson auto pilot, Raytheon tri-data, Raytheon hailer, Gateway Nav Screen/DVD, and Icom VHF radio. The open cockpit has facing lounge seating with fold-away center dining table. The wet bar with ice maker keeps the crew refreshed. Twin transom doors lead to a huge swim platform with stainless steel railing dramatically extending the useable deck space. Wide side decks lead forward to a foredeck sun pad and bow pulpit with anchor and windlass.
Below you find a cabin well suited to the needs of a weekend or extended cruise. The open salon features teak & holly sole with starboard convertible dinette and port side galley. The full galley is equipped with upper & lower galley cabinets, solid surface counter top with stainless steel sink, electric cook top, built-in microwave, built-in coffee maker, under-counter refrigerator/freezer and even a wine rack. The dinette fills the starboard side of the salon providing a comfortable entertaining and dining area with 36" flat screen TV. When needed, it converts to a double berth. There are two staterooms, each with its own head compartment. The forward stateroom has an island queen berth, two hanging lockers, flat screen TV, and private access to forward head. The forward head compartment has electric toilet, vanity with sink, and separate shower stall. The mid-ship stateroom has double berth, ample storage, vanity with sink, and hide-away head.
Performance is provided by twin 435-hp Caterpillar diesel engines with a cruising speed of 23 knots. An Onan 9kW generator provides off-shore electrical power.
